Private Charter in the GCC: Multi-Country Travel Planning

In How to Charter by ASM Editorial Team

A charter across GCC countries should be planned for each country and flight sector. Geographic proximity does not create common entry permissions or one approval covering the entire aircraft itinerary.

Flying Private Jet in GCC

Passenger entry and aircraft permissions

Confirm passenger entry requirements for each nationality, residence status, destination and transit point through official channels. Separately, the operator reviews flight classification, route permissions and required aircraft documents. A traveller’s residence permit or visa does not authorise the aircraft movement.

Choose the airport around the final address

Compare an airport’s accepted movement, handling, parking and onward journey. For the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain or Qatar, give the actual meeting or accommodation location. Private charter does not guarantee faster border clearance.

Check a multi-stop business programme

List essential meeting deadlines and realistic departure windows. A changed stop can affect approvals, crew duty, aircraft position and the return itinerary. Ask whether the aircraft can remain parked or whether repositioning is part of the proposal.

Specify handling and passenger needs

Provide passenger and baggage numbers, equipment dimensions, mobility needs, pets and catering requests early. Airport and aircraft acceptance must be reviewed for the particular mission. Catering and transfers should show their own acknowledgement and amendment contact.

Maintain one current itinerary

Record confirmed aircraft, operator, dates and times with time zones, terminal instructions, transfers and outstanding permissions. Give the next operations shift and group organiser the latest accepted version. A forwarded request is not confirmation.

Confirm the proposal and changes

Review the aircraft and operating party, itinerary, total price, currency, validity, inclusions, exclusions and amendment or cancellation conditions. Keep requested services separate from accepted arrangements. A changed schedule, aircraft or passenger group needs renewed review.

Send route, dates and times with time zones, passengers, baggage, final address and available flexibility through ASM’s charter enquiry. Operators requiring individual services can discuss flight support.
