A private jet to France should be planned around your final destination, passenger group and schedule. A Paris business visit, Riviera holiday and Alpine ski trip can require different airport and transfer arrangements. ASM Charter coordinates aircraft proposals and journey requirements, with flight acceptance confirmed by the operating carrier.
How should a France charter link Paris and the Riviera?
Choose the airports around the complete French itinerary. Paris–Le Bourget serves business-aviation planning for Paris; Nice and an eligible Cannes–Mandelieu operation offer different Riviera options. For each sector, confirm aircraft acceptance, passenger formalities, parking and the onward address. A multi-city proposal should also show positioning and the return plan.

Aircraft operators can discuss movement-specific permits, handling, fuel and crew requirements with ASM flight support. Passenger aircraft enquiries use the charter proposal form.
Choose the airport around the complete journey
Start with the address you need to reach and your latest acceptable arrival time. The nearest airfield is not automatically suitable for the proposed aircraft or international arrival. Aircraft performance, airport acceptance, passenger formalities, parking and the onward transfer must work together.
Paris: discuss Paris–Le Bourget for a business-aviation itinerary. Provide the meeting or hotel address and any onward sectors so the airport and ground-transport plan can be assessed together.
French Riviera: compare the complete journey through Nice with an eligible Cannes–Mandelieu option. The official Nice Airport business-aviation page describes its dedicated terminal, ground handling providers and helicopter facilities. These facilities do not guarantee an available stand, a particular departure time or an onward helicopter booking.
Alpine journeys: share ski equipment, the resort address and transfer preferences. Do not assume that a mountain airfield accepts the jet offered for the international sector. The operating carrier must assess the airport and aircraft; a suitable gateway airport followed by a separately confirmed road or helicopter transfer may be required.
Regional stays: for vineyard visits, factory tours or multiple meetings, send every overnight location. Compare the overall itinerary, including repositioning and transfers, instead of selecting an airport only by distance.
Permissions, airport acceptance and passenger documents
The operating carrier and support team should review the current French requirements for the route, operator and flight purpose. Consult the French aeronautical information service, SIA, alongside current NOTAMs and airport instructions. Required permissions, slots, prior permission and parking are separate checks; confirmation of one does not establish the others.
Passenger and crew information should be supplied through the agreed secure process. Private charter does not remove passport, immigration, customs or security requirements. Explain any onward international sector when requesting the quotation so the complete route can be reviewed.
Selecting the aircraft and baggage plan
Provide passenger count, suitcase quantities, approximate weights and dimensions. Mention skis, golf bags, pushchairs, pets or equipment at the enquiry stage. ASM Charter can discuss the 9-seat and 11-seat Challenger 605 configurations where available, or another suitable aircraft.
Published aircraft range is a planning reference rather than a promise for your itinerary. Winds, routing, reserves, passenger and baggage load, and airport performance influence nonstop suitability. Ask whether the quoted journey includes a technical fuel stop and how this affects arrival time.
Planning around events and seasonal travel
When travelling for a festival, exhibition, sporting event or school holiday, identify which timings are fixed and where you have flexibility. Request aircraft, parking, accommodation and transfer confirmation early. If the aircraft cannot remain at the destination, the proposal should explain repositioning and the return-sector arrangement.
For a multi-city trip, a later meeting finish can affect the next flight and crew programme. Keep one itinerary contact and pass changes to ASM Charter as a complete revised schedule.
What should a France charter quotation explain?
Compare the aircraft and cabin offered, positioning sectors, flight schedule, airport and handling charges, parking, crew expenses, catering and transfers. Confirm any exclusions, waiting-time charges, cancellation terms and the process for itinerary amendments. Availability and pricing remain subject to the final charter agreement.
For airport transfers, provide the exact destination, passenger count and baggage. Road conditions and event traffic can change the journey time. A helicopter connection needs its own aircraft availability, landing arrangements, baggage and weather assessment; it should not be treated as automatically included.

France private charter questions
Can I arrive at one airport and depart from another? Ask for an open-jaw itinerary with every sector and overnight stop. Aircraft positioning, parking and crew arrangements determine whether the proposed programme is practical and how it is priced.
Can a ski resort be reached directly by the charter jet? Do not assume so. Send the resort and preferred transfer plan; airport and aircraft suitability must be checked before confirming the arrival point.
Can I request a same-day return? Yes, as an enquiry. Provide both preferred departure times and your meeting location so the carrier can review the operating day, airport constraints and crew requirements.
