A trip to Maadhoo or another South Malé Atoll island requires a confirmed international arrival and a separate island transfer. Give the accommodation provider the exact island, flight details, group and baggage before accepting the connection.
Does a South Malé Atoll booking identify the transfer?
No. Confirm the exact island or property, including Maadhoo where applicable, and obtain the provider's accepted transfer method and meeting instructions. The international flight and island connection have separate baggage and operating limits. Use the Maldives charter guide for airport planning, then coordinate arrival changes and the return handover with the property.

Confirm the transfer with the accommodation
Ask the property to identify the accepted boat or other transfer, boarding point, meeting contact and operating arrangements for your date. Do not infer a transfer method from the atoll name or a generic resort list. The Maldives charter guide covers the international arrival.
Match flight arrival to transfer availability
Allow a buffer for airport processing, baggage and the handover to the transfer provider. Ask what happens after a delayed or late arrival and whether alternative arrangements or an overnight stay are needed. A flight landing time is not a confirmed island-arrival time.
Declare baggage and equipment
Provide luggage quantity, dimensions, sports equipment and mobility needs to both the charter and transfer teams. Aircraft and boat capacity must each support the group. Confirm how baggage is carried between the terminal and boarding point.
Review weather and changes
Obtain the transfer provider’s disruption process and amendment contact. Weather can affect the connection even when the international flight operates. Keep cancellation conditions and any separately charged contingency clear.
Keep the return joined up
Agree the island departure and airport reporting time with a suitable buffer. Send amended flight details to the property and request acknowledgement. Do not assume all islands in an atoll share one timetable or facilities.
Confirm the proposal and changes
Review the aircraft and operating party, itinerary, total price, currency, validity, inclusions, exclusions and amendment or cancellation conditions. Keep requested services separate from accepted arrangements. A changed schedule, aircraft or passenger group needs renewed review.
Send route, dates and times with time zones, passengers, baggage, final address and available flexibility through ASM’s charter enquiry. Operators requiring individual services can discuss flight support.
