An African flight programme should be reviewed country by country and station by station. Authority procedures, infrastructure, suppliers and operating conditions vary. A regional presence is not confirmation of every service at every airport.

Send a complete station brief
Provide airport and code, carrier, aircraft type and registration, flight classification, route and schedule with time zone. State passenger or cargo needs, parking duration, equipment, fuel and services already arranged.
Track approvals and local acceptance
The carrier reviews applicable authority procedures and current aeronautical information. Keep permits, movement acceptance, parking and handler acknowledgement separate. A support provider coordinates requests; authorities and local providers make their own acceptance decisions.
Confirm fuel through local supply arrangements
ASM supplies aviation fuel through supply partners, with physical delivery by local suppliers and airport infrastructure. Confirm grade, estimated quantity and unit, timing, commercial acceptance and release arrangements for each station.
Compare included charges, exclusions, payment terms and amendments. A regional network does not establish one uniform price or mean ASM physically controls every delivery stage. See fuel services and the outstation checklist.
Define the regional and station roles
The confirmation should identify the contracting party, local provider, accepted scope and escalation contact. Where ASM or a related regional company is involved, do not infer continent-wide direct handling from an office in one country.
Coordinate crew and amendments
Confirm accommodation, transfers, catering and passenger or cargo handovers with responsible providers. Request acknowledgement after schedule changes. Duty and rest decisions remain the operator’s responsibility.
Send a station list to ASM and discuss flight support. The response should distinguish accepted arrangements from outstanding approvals and availability.
