Summer Private Charter to Europe: Airport and Parking Planning

In Charter Destinations and Routes by ASM Editorial Team

A summer charter itinerary works best when the airport and ground journey are planned before accommodation and event commitments become fixed. Compare coastal, city and Alpine destinations by airport suitability and confirmed arrangements rather than a luxury ranking.

What should be secured first for a summer Europe charter?

Secure a workable airport and aircraft plan alongside the accommodation request. An accepted arrival does not establish parking for the whole stay. Compare repositioning, crew arrangements and the return sector before accepting the price. Coastal, island and mountain destinations also need their own baggage and connecting-transfer arrangements.

Aircraft operators can discuss movement-specific permits, handling, fuel and crew requirements with ASM flight support. Passenger aircraft enquiries use the charter proposal form.

Europe - Geneva & St. Moritz, Switzerland

Coastal and island arrivals

For the Riviera, Spain or Italian islands, give the exact property or marina address. Ask which airports can accept the aircraft and whether parking is available for the stay. A convenient arrival does not mean the aircraft can remain there until the return.

Use the Nice guide, Spain guide or Sardinia guide for the relevant journey.

City and event visits

Share meeting and event deadlines for Paris, Milan or London. Identify a realistic arrival window and whether the return can move. Ground access restrictions and event traffic should be confirmed for the actual dates.

Alpine and lakeside journeys

For Geneva or Lake Como, review the final transfer, equipment baggage and any weather-sensitive connection. A helicopter or boat sector requires separate provider acceptance and a fallback.

Parking and positioning affect price

Keep movement acceptance, handling and parking confirmations separate. If the aircraft must reposition during the stay, review how that affects the return schedule, crew arrangements and quotation. Do not assume summer airport demand can be solved by booking the hotel early.

Prepare passengers and baggage

Confirm official entry requirements for each country and traveller. Declare sports equipment, oversized baggage, pets and assistance needs before aircraft selection. The operator must assess the route and actual payload, including any proposed technical stop.

Confirm the proposal and changes

Review the aircraft and operating party, itinerary, total price, currency, validity, inclusions, exclusions and amendment or cancellation conditions. Keep requested services separate from accepted arrangements. A changed schedule, aircraft or passenger group needs renewed review.

Send route, dates and times with time zones, passengers, baggage, final address and available flexibility through ASM’s charter enquiry. Operators requiring individual services can discuss flight support.
