Planning a private jet to Egypt starts with the final destination, operating requirements and complete ground itinerary—not simply an aircraft type or headline price. Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Alexandria, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada serve different business, cultural and leisure journeys, with movement-specific permit, handling, parking, CIQ and transfer considerations.
From Dubai, typical nonstop sectors are approximately three and a half to four and a half hours, depending on the Egyptian destination, aircraft performance, routing, winds and air traffic control. The operating carrier must confirm the final route and technical feasibility.

Which Egyptian airport should a private flight use?
The best airport depends on the passenger’s final address, airport acceptance, parking availability, handling arrangements, transfer time and onward sectors. The geographically closest airport is not always the strongest complete operational solution.
- Private jet to Cairo — Cairo International (CAI/HECA) or Sphinx International (SPX/HESX), assessed against the final Cairo or Giza destination.
- Private jet to Luxor — Luxor International Airport (LXR/HELX), often linked with Nile itineraries and Aswan sectors.
- Private jet to Aswan — Aswan International Airport (ASW/HESN), with planning for cruises, Abu Simbel connections and Luxor programmes.
- Private jet to Alexandria — Borg El Arab International Airport (HBE/HEBA), serving Alexandria, port and surrounding industrial destinations.
- Private jet to Sharm El Sheikh — Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH/HESH), with resort transfer and seasonal parking considerations.
- Private jet to Hurghada — Hurghada International Airport (HRG/HEGN), serving Hurghada, El Gouna and Soma Bay; southern resorts may require a different airport assessment.
Egypt landing permits, slots and PPR
Non-scheduled operations may require Egyptian landing permission supported by current operator and aircraft documentation. Airport slots, prior permission, parking and handling acceptance are movement-specific. Approval for a previous flight should never be treated as approval for a new schedule.
The operating carrier and appointed flight-support team should review the current AIP, NOTAMs and authority requirements before operation. Learn more about ASM’s flight permit coordination.
Immigration, customs and passenger documentation
Private aviation does not bypass immigration, customs, aviation security or applicable health controls. Passenger and crew information must be supplied within the required lead time. Each traveller remains responsible for holding the correct passport, visa and entry authority; visa-on-arrival eligibility should not be assumed without confirmation for the relevant nationality and itinerary.
Ground handling, fuel and crew support
Handling arrangements can include airport coordination, passenger and crew assistance, ramp services, baggage support, catering, ground transportation and communication with relevant local parties. Review ASM’s ground handling support.
Fuel availability is not the same as a confirmed uplift. Product, quantity, supplier acceptance, payment arrangements and delivery timing should be coordinated for the actual flight. ASM can support aviation fuel coordination as part of the wider operation.
Multi-sector Nile and Red Sea itineraries
Luxor and Aswan should be planned together when a journey includes a Nile cruise or an Abu Simbel connection. Red Sea programmes require the resort location and realistic road transfer to be considered before the arrival airport is selected. Crew duty, domestic permissions, baggage, parking and ground schedules should be assessed as one programme rather than separate requests.

Egypt private-jet FAQs
Can a private jet fly nonstop from Dubai to Egypt?
Several aircraft categories may be suitable for many UAE–Egypt sectors, but aircraft availability, performance, payload, routing and approvals must be confirmed for the requested flight.
Can ASM arrange both charter and local flight support?
ASM Charter can source an appropriately certificated operator and suitable aircraft. ASM’s flight-support team can coordinate relevant operational services according to the confirmed itinerary and airport requirements.
Are permits and parking guaranteed?
No. Permits, slots, PPR, parking and handling remain subject to authority, airport and supplier approval for the specific movement.
