The Monaco Grand Prix is not just a race, it’s an experience that blends luxury, glamour, and adrenaline. We have put together a comprehensive guide to help you plan and prepare for this unforgettable journey. So sit back, buckle up, and get ready to embark on a trip of a lifetime to the heart of the Formula 1 world.
The Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix is an esteemed motorsport event that takes place annually in the luxurious city-state of Monaco. Known for its challenging circuit, breathtaking views, and high-end atmosphere, this race is a highly anticipated event worldwide.
At ASM, we prioritize luxury and convenience when it comes to travel. Attending the Monaco Grand Prix on a private jet is an experience that can provide unmatched comfort and ease compared to commercial flights. With our private jets, you can avoid the crowds and long lines at the airport, and arrive in Monaco feeling refreshed and relaxed. Our skilled pilots and flight attendants ensure a smooth and enjoyable flight experience from beginning to end.
Upon your arrival in Monaco, a private car will be ready to escort you. Our concierge team can arrange VIP hospitality packages, premium seating, and exclusive access to events to make your Monaco Grand Prix experience unforgettable.
The Monaco Grand Prix encompasses four days of racing, with practice sessions, qualifications, and the race itself taking place across several days. With a private jet, you have the flexibility to design your schedule according to your personal preferences, granting you ample time to absorb the race and explore the splendor of Monaco.
Aside from the race itself, there are numerous activities to engage in throughout the weekend of the Monaco Grand Prix. Monaco is famous for its refined ambience, offering numerous opportunities for high-end dining, luxury shopping, and yacht-spotting. Our concierge team is available to arrange access to exclusive events and activities, enhancing your Monaco Grand Prix visit.
The closest airport to the Monaco Grand Prix is LFMN in Nice. However, it is essential to note that this event is one of the busiest periods of the year for this airport, and parking requests are managed on a first-come, first-served basis. It is important to be aware that any parking requests that have been processed and accepted will be forfeited in case of a schedule change.
Typically, a NOTAM is released two to three weeks before the event, and restrictions are put in place.
For instance, last year’s NOTAM showed that only quick turnarounds of fewer than four hours were possible on race day. Additionally, there were limitations on empty legs between LFMN and LFMD on race day. Helicopter movements and daytime parking, as well as aircraft long turns, may also not be permitted for any aircraft on Sunday.
Obtaining slots during the busy weekend can be challenging, and last-minute requests may result in a significant difference between the requested and obtained slots. Parking requests are placed on the waiting list, and airport authorities process each one individually two weeks before the event.
If parking is not available in Nice, Cannes airport (LFMD) is another option, although it is just as busy as Nice. In case of an emergency, Albenga (LIMG) or Genoa (LIMJ) are good alternatives. Other closest airports from LFMN include LFML, LFTH, and LIMJ.
