HR & Admin Manager

ASM is looking to hire HR & Admin Manager who will be a focal point for HR services supporting its business units globally in all functional areas including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Comp & Ben, Employee Relations etc. The role will also be required to assist Flight Operations Manager with Flight Crew Management, Crew Scheduling and Crew Licensing. 

Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Drive the implementation of strategic and operational HR programs aligned with the company goals and in compliance with local legislation.
  • Manage the recruitment process including job advertisement, shortlisting, interviews, references, psychometrics, salary negotiations and on-boarding/off-boarding process.
  • Lead the performance management process by guiding and advising managers on continued staff development by setting objectives, development plans, coaching and providing feedback. Consult with line managers to proactively identify and address employee performance issues.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and morale based on feedback from climate surveys, exit interviews etc. throughout the business by liaising with HODs to assist with productivity and retention &  building a positive working environment.
  • Design and Develop HR policies  aligned with company strategies.
  • Manage Payroll and Benefits program.
  • Manage HRIS, Company Portals, Company Documents/Licensing and Government Relations.
  • Assist Flight Operations Manager with Flight Crew Management, Crew Scheduling and Crew Licensing.

Requirements:

  • Min. 8 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Min. 3 years’ experience as Senior HR Generalist/Managerial role in Aviation industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / Human Resources and/or a qualified member of the CIPD (or equivalent)
  • Understating of Flight Operations and Flight Crew Licensing 
  • Proven professional experience in Recruitment, Performance Management, Change Management, Job Evaluations, Employee Relations, HR systems and Employee Engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Resilient, have a passion for working in the dynamically growing aviation industry
  • Ability to work well under pressure ensuring tasks are prioritized and goals are met
  • Has good presentation and communication skills
  • Result-oriented, persistent, reliable and consistent
