Sri Lanka Executive Aviation Services (SEAS) is looking to hire an Accountant to join our growing Finance team, based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The primary function of this role is to manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including supplier invoice management, reconciliations, booking prepaid/operating expenses, petty cash handling, fixed assets accounting, and VAT calculations.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in an accounting role
- Experience in managing supplier invoices, reconciliations, booking expenses and resolving disputes
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables)
- Fluent in English (both oral and written)
- Knowledge of VAT calculations and returns
Desirable Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Knowledge of Sri Lankan tax regulations and accounting standards
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external teams
